Hello! Working in a grocery store for ten years I always felt that front level employees are the most vital part of a company. Managing money has taught me to double check my work every time. Receiving samples to analyze is the backbone in any part of science, and I feel like I am a perfect fit for this job. I had to organize and manage my own department while going to school to understand the environment —I excel at working hard and prioritizing my tasks
My attention to detail has made management of my department a must at my grocery. If something slips through the cracks the whole system falls out of balance. As I work by myself my personal drive has made what I do possible. If I go home feeling accomplished it is only because I have done everything correct in my position. In my education I handled soil samples and experimented on them to better understand the Ph level, makeup, and consistency.
I am interested in AmTest laboratories because of their small nature and the work they do. I always excel in small groups, and I believe quality is better than quantity. Testing samples is the first step to understanding a species and the climate they live in, studying something requires patience and accuracy. In my current job I had to learn through trial and error— I don't get bogged down by a heavy workload or a seemingly impossible task.
I would love the chance to talk in person for this position. Please reach out to me if you would like more references or details on my previous work. Thank you for taking the time to judge my application.
